The prolific actor Kiran Abbavaram has been on a roll. His latest project is bankrolled by Sivam Celluloids and directed by newcomer Viswa Karun.

A pure romantic love drama as per the makers, the untitled film was launched today. Several guests attended the event to wish the 'SR Kalyanamandapam' actor, who recently returned to form with the clean hit called 'Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha', produced by GA2 Pictures.

The launch event saw the likes of VV Vinayak, Suresh Daggubati, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' maker AM Rathnam, KS Rama Rao, Gemini Kiran, Shirish, Vallabhaneni Vamsi, Ram Talluri, Nallamalupu Bujji, Damodar Prasad, KK Radha Mohan, Bekkam Venugopal, and others in attendance.

Even as Kiran awaits the theatrical release of 'Meter' on April 7, he will start shooting for this film later this month. The names of the rest of the cast are yet to be announced.

The names of key technicians have been made official. With music by Sam CS of Kollywood, the film will be jointly designed by Raveendar and Sudheer Macharla. Vishwas Daniel and Praveen KL, respectively, will take care of cinematography and editing. With costumes designed by Harsha Challapalli, the film will hit the screens later this year.

'Meter', meanwhile, is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. It has Kiran in the role of a cop. The film's teaser was released the other day.
