Kingsman: The Secret Service has got the biggest opening for a Hollywood film this year at the Indian box office, with a 4 crores nett weekend!!

In its opening weekend, this action comedy has surpassed the lifetime collections of all Hollywood films of this year (Except Taken 3, which is again a Twentieth Century Fox film!) After Twentieth Century Fox's immense success with Taken 3 and Birdman this year, Kingsman with its great reviews and audience appreciation, has shown fantastic growth. With 40% growth on saturday from friday, and 60% growth on sunday from friday, the incredibly positive word-of-mouth had driven the day-on-day growth.

The Twentieth Century Fox production that stars Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Strong, Taron Egerton and Michael Caine is about a veteran spy of a super-secret organization who recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency`s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius is still running to packed houses in theaters.

The film has been directed by Matthew Vaughn of X-Men First Class fame.
