Interestingly, the recently released Dileep starrer 'King Liar' is inspired from a real life actor. Siddique noted the actor's tendency to to boast and tell lies always and conveyed the idea to Lal. This is how the movie 'King Lair' was born. They say that the entire industry know who the actor is.

The basic plot of the movie was finalised based on this interstinf facet of the actor's character. The movie is a big hit and the stack of precarious lies on which the charatcer in the movie stands has appealed to the masses.
