After an above average performance of 'Paheli' at the box office, both in the Indian and overseas market, Shahrukh Khan takes a long awaited rest till the month of September before he begins shooting for Dharma Productions' KANK [Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna], to be directed by Karan Johar.

Early 2006 he begins filming for Farah Khan's 'waiting-in-the-queue' 'Happy New Year' that was supposed to begin this year but got postponed due to various reasons.

Now with Shahrukh Khan committing his dates for KANK, HNY starts only later. Another biggie is Farhan Akhtar's 'Don' that is hot favorite in the trade as it is destined to meet with a stupendous response when released in late 2006.

And if a little birdie is to be believed, Khan also makes an appearance in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Munnabhai Meets Gandhi'.

Though one hopes that if he does so, it is much better in length and content than the ones in 'Kucch Meetha Ho Jaaye' and 'Sisiilay' recently.
