Tuesday King Charles III visited Southport to meet families and survivors of the terrible knife attack last month that claimed the lives of three young girls and injured ten others at a Taylor Swift-themed children's dance event. His trip arrived just one day following Taylor Swift's own meeting with some of the survivors and their families behind-stage at her London concert.

Hundreds of Southport residents greeted King Charles as he paid his respects at a floral memorial for the victims. "The King will express his support for those impacted by the July 29th attack and the unrest that followed, and will personally thank the emergency services for their efforts," Buckingham Palace said ahead of his visit. The King visited surviving children and their families who had been visiting the Hart Space Community Centre during the incident.

Following their stabbing, the victims—Bebe King, 6, Elsie Dot Stancombe, 7, and Alice da Silva Aguiar 9 caused great disturbance and set off riots around England. Social media false information on the identity of the perpetrator drove the turbulence. Originating from Cardiff, a 17-year-old male has been charged with both attempted and murder.

On social media, Taylor Swift had already shown her astonishment and sadness at the occurrence. She met the survivors backstage and spent a unique moment with the girls including a TikHub post by a mother of two victims that went viral right away.
