'Killing Veerappan' release date locked

The release of director Ram Gopal Varma`s upcoming docu-drama-thriller Killing Veerappan has hit a roadblock due to the complaint lodged by the sandalwood smugglers wife Muthulakshmi. The film which was initially lined up for release against Nikhil`s Sankarabharanam today was pushed indefinitely after the court`s order and the latest update is that the makers have locked the release date.

According to reports, Varma met Veerappan`s wife and cleared all her apprehensions over the film`s story. With all the hiccups being cleared, Varma is now planning to release Killing Veerappan on December 11.

Starring Shiva Rajkumar and Sandeep Bharadwaj in lead roles, the film showcases about the rise and fall of Veerappan.
