Actress Raveena Tandon has decided to take her love for animals and her work for PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) one step further by commissioning a film "Command for Choti".

The film portrays the story of a little girl who rescues a herd of deer from hunters.

"We specially produced the film to drive home the point that children should be taught to be compassionate towards animals from a tender age, so that they don't grow up to be uncaring, irresponsible adults.

"The story is very relevant at a time when there is so much talk about black bucks being hunted," says Raveena, the chairperson of Children's Film Society of India.

Raveena is also in the process of setting up an animal hospital at Versova in Mumbai besides an animal rehabilitation centre at her five-acre farmhouse in Vada, on the outskirts of Mumbai.
