If the figures on the opening day (Wednesday) are anything to go by, the keenly anticipated 'Kidnap' was the audience's first choice in the UK.

Released by Studio 18 on 50 screens, the film grossed a smashing £64,161 from 46 reported sites. On the other hand, 'Drona', released on 55 screens, managed to gross only £32,369 from 51 reported sites. [Source: Neilsen EDI]
