Imran's tattoo

Imran Khan's tattoo at the back of his neck in the trailor of Kidnap has caught much female attention. The trailor gives a clear view of the new Khan's tattoo as he turns around and menacingly informs Sanjay Dutt that he had kidnapped his daughter.

There was news that Imran had had the tattoo done especially for Kidnap in keeping with his tough and rugged look in the film. Turns out that that isn't true after all!

Not many know that the tattoo is a permanent one, which he had done from a guy in Mumbai's Colaba area many years back when tattoo parlours weren't around.

Laughs Imran, It's one of those things I had done when I was seventeen. It's permanent. We had to hide it in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na as it wasn't in keeping with my character. But my director (Sanjay Gadhvi) felt it went well with the tone of Kabir in Kidnap and decided to show it!

The clarification should put the mystery behind Imran's tattoo to rest!

His 12 floors jump

This Eid's most keenly awaited film Kidnap sees the latest teen sensation Imran Khan in a radically different avatar. From essaying a cute, lovable boy-next-door in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na to a new-age angry young man, Imran has grown by leaps and bounds. Kidnap sees him perform some death-defying stunts, which even had veteran Sanjay Dutt concerned for his safety and well-being.

Leaving the crew of the film astonished, Imran underwent a 3 week training by the UK-based action director Dane and did all the Parkour himself. The chase scene between Imran's and Sanjay Dutt's characters involves a heavy dose of stunning Parkour and is among the high points of the film. The scene required Imran to jump from a 16-storey building, which he did without any support!

Imran's trainer, Dane, was supposed to perform the stunt, but suffered a severe fall from the 12th floor in one of the takes leading to a subsequent black-out. Dane was rushed to the hospital but Imran stayed back at the location and wrapped the stunt himself. While director Sanjay Gadhvi could not dissuade the young actor from this act of sheer dare-devilry, Sanjay Dutt who was on location, and is incredibly protective about Imran, rebuked him for doing his own stunts at this age when he had a long career ahead of him.

Confirms Imran, I got into a lot of trouble that day. Sanju pulled me up and called Aamir mamu to tell him about what I had done!

His mamu's first ever look at 'Kidnap'

One megastar who saw Kidnap before anybody else was Aamir Khan. Aamir came down specially to watch the film at director Sanjay Gadhvi's Lokhandwala home some time back.

Confirms Gadhvi, Yes, Aamir saw Kidnap. I invited him to watch it because he knows what is good cinema. He is a well-wisher. He saw the final cut with rough music and without sound effects or dubbing and absolutely loved it.

It follows that Aamir's other motivation to watch Kidnap was his pet nephew Imran Khan whom he launched in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. After the screening, Aamir text Imran about his performance to praise him in his second feature.

Remarks Imran, Yes, mamu has seen Kidnap. He messaged to say that he liked the film and that I had done a great job. It was a major compliment for me because after Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, he just said, not bad!
