Remember Shaam of Ravi Teja's 'Kick' fame? In a shocking piece of news, it has been revealed that the famous actor is in police custody for allegedly indulging in illegal activities at his home in Chennai.

Media reports say that the actor was reportedly involved in gambling activities at his home, which has lead to his arrest.

Police officers acted upon receiving information that Shaam, who lives in Nungambakkam, has been indulging in gambling in association with friends. Based on a tip-off, the cops reached his home and arrested Shaam among 14 others.

As lockdown has been imposed, Shaam was gambling at home itself, and Shaam, businessmen, film directors, private firm officials, hotel owners, and lawyers were among those arrested. It was found that lakhs of money were involved in gambling.

It has been reported that Shaam who was arrested was later released on bail.
