Actor Kichcha Sudeep, known for his charismatic presence in Kannada cinema, has shared an emotional tribute to his late mother, Saroja Sanjeev, who passed away on October 20th. In a poignant post on X, he described his mother as "the most unbiased, loving, forgiving, caring, and giving person in my life."
Sudeep's post revealed the heart-wrenching reality of his mother's final hours. While filming the Saturday episode of Bigg Boss Kannada 11, he received news of her hospitalization. He rushed to the hospital, but his mother was already on a ventilator, having been placed on life support minutes before his arrival. "I couldn't see my mother while she was still conscious," he wrote, expressing his deep sorrow.
The actor recalled the daily ritual of his mother texting him "Good morning, kanda..." every morning at 5:30 am. He noted that this routine was disrupted the day she was hospitalized. "I didn't see her text the next day when I woke up while at BB," he wrote.
Sudeep's post spoke of the overwhelming grief that accompanies such a loss. He explained how the suddenness of his mother's passing made it difficult to process the reality. "My mother, the one who gave such a tight hug before I left for the shoot, was no more within the next few hours," he wrote, adding, "It's a hard-hitting truth that will take its own time to penetrate into our minds and hearts."
Despite the emotional turmoil, Sudeep had to remain strong and complete his filming commitments. "If I yet sailed through that episode shoot with calm, I owe it to my mother for having taught me how to stay with the job I have accepted amidst all chaos," he wrote.
The post ends with Sudeep expressing his love and admiration for his mother. "My mother was a great soul, and I will miss her," he wrote. He also thanked everyone who reached out to him during this difficult time.
The outpouring of grief from Sudeep, a beloved figure in the film industry, reflects the profound impact his mother had on his life. This deeply personal post offers a glimpse into the immense pain of loss and the enduring love that binds families together.
