Actress Kiara Advani is riding high on the success of her latest film 'Shershah'. She played the character of Dimple Cheema and with her elegance and acting chops, managed to make the character strike the right chord with audience. Recently, two of Kiara's statements have come to light which reveals that the actress strongly believes in having an identity of your own instead of being a copy of someone more popular.
Kiara has often been compared to filmstar Hema Malini for her looks and while she takes it as a compliment, she believes that she'd rather be remembered as herself than a look alike of Hema Malini. She said, "It’s truly an honour to be compared to Hema ji, she’s so beautiful. But honestly, I’ve always found this compliment weird. I don’t know how to react to it. I mean, it’s great to be compared to her, but I am also my own person. I like the way I look and I want to look like myself."
In another instance, Kiara praised a girl who imitated her character from 'Shershah' for her resemblance but she emphasized that people to should see her actual qualities. Kiara stated, "She did a really great job with the way she recreated the look. And then this morning, like everyone else I got the forward. But you know I don’t really like the word doppelganger. I know what she’s doing is flattering, but what’s interesting to me is that she’s a doctor in real life. She’s her own personality and it’s very sweet that she likes to recreate my looks.
