Brilliant actress Kiara Advani is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming horror comedy 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2'. Best known for her romantic and drama centric performances in titles like 'Kabir Singh', 'Shershah', 'Guilty' etc, Kiara believes that a typical comedy flick in Bollywood doesn't have much to offer to female actors.

According to a recent report in The Indian Express, Kiara said, "It’s very rare that a female protagonist adds a punch. I am still craving to do that. I’m part of these films, they all have had an interesting arc to the characters. But if I’ve to compare it to what your male protagonist is doing (in the film), then you just can’t compare."

Although she finds the situation quite disappointing, Kiara is optimistic that things will change for better in future. She says, "It definitely does disappoint. Maybe now’s when you start speaking up and telling your director that you want more. Maybe now I will start doing that going forward."

Directed by Anees Bazmee, 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' is set to release on 20th of May.
