It is a good opening in Kannada filmdom in 2015. It is a pleasant film – third in row of Golden star Ganesh and charming beauty Amoolya in ‘Kushi Kushiyagi’ has appealing second half.

The first half could have been better. The second half is in full control of Amoolya. She looks pretty and also performed well. The confusion and mistaken identity carries the film till the last scene. The voice of the two is not recognized when they talk face to face. A remake of Telugu film ‘Gunde Jaari….is grand in Kannada because of production values, locations, costumes and good cinematography work.

Raj (Ganesh) living alone while the parents are abroad is brought up in affluent style. He takes a look at beautiful Priya (Nandini Rai) at Sadhu wedding. It is love at first sight but the number he gets is not of Priya. Raj is in telephonic chat with Nandini (Amoolya) and it is a conditional chat for one week. In the process Raj calls her as Chinnu and when they are about to meet he finds his friend Anand is in love with Priya. Raj is confused but not the audience.

Raj makes a few attempts to convince Priya that he is the one talking to him. He shows her the photo he has taken in mobile. Priya ask Raj to call her on mobile on the spot. Raj is confused. On the other hand telephonic lover Chinnu is upset because of attitudes of Raj. She decides to take revenge by coming as boss to the company.

It is fun and inconvenient atmosphere for Raj. How the things are sorted out you have to watch for neat narration especially in the second half.

Ganesh has got the right role. He looks handsome with very good costumes provided by costume designer turned director Yogi G Raj. Amoolya looks sweet and the role for her immaculately suits. The new entrant Nandini Rai has good future. Ananad of Silli Lalli has a major share as lover of Priya in the film. He has graduated with a good performance. The role for Giri, Achyuth Kumar and a few others is routine.

Anoop Reuben haunts with three lovely tunes. Cinematography of Srisha Kuduvalli is another beauty of the film. Every frame looks grand and pleasant. This is worth watching KK.

Score – 7/10
