Khushbu Sundar, who was recently seen in Sharwanand's 'Aadavaalu Meeku Johaarlu', is looking fit these days. In terms of looks, she has never looked this beautiful in decades.
IndiaGlitz caught up with the yesteryear star actress to know how she has been working out. "I used the lockdown period for myself for once. My hubby has played cop roles in three films and that's why he has been fitness-conscious. My daughters, too, are like him. All three of them are tall. They are six-footers. I am the odd one out (laughs). That's why I felt I should get into shape. I started doing Yoga and other exercises," she says, adding that she has cut down on food intake.
Elaborating on her diet, she informs, "I don't deprive myself of eating anything. I reduced ice-cream intake, mutton biryani... I never skip a meal. I eat something or the other every few hours. I am not a chocolate person but I like some chocolate-made things."
Talking about her return to Telugu cinema, the actress shares some interesting things. 'Agnyaathavaasi' (2018) was Khushbu's first Telugu movie in more than ten years. "Since it was a Trivikram-Pawan Kalyan movie, a number of offers came my way after that movie. But I didn't take up any of them because I wanted something interesting and big after doing the big-ticket movie. I finally accepted 'Aadavaallu Meeku Johaarlu'. I liked the character because she has got some similarities with my nature. I could connect with the character and the mother-daughter scenes with Rashmika Mandanna. The director asked me to underplay the character, to portray in-between expressions," she adds, talking about the experience of doing 'AMJ'.
Khushbu got to share screen space with Radhika Sarathkumar in 'AMJ'. "It was fun working with Radhika. It's impossible for me not to have fun in her presence. We would not go to our caravans. We would chat up," she reveals.
She is currently doing Gopichand-Sriwass' movie. "Jagapathi Babu is playing my husband in the movie. I am playing the hero's vadina. It's a nice role. It's usual to play the mother's character. Ramya Krishna played Prabhas' mother in 'Baahubali'. If the character has weight, actresses are ready to play mother roles," the actress adds.
