Khushbu Sundar has been put up in Goa to oversee the arrangements for the International Film Festival of India. Speaking on the occasion, the senior actress said that she was a part of the steering committee.
"I am here to steer the festival and see to it that things are done well," she said. The actress looked after the design of the festival, among others. The 53rd edition has been a success.
The likes of Rana Daggubati are also part of the festival committee. "This is not just about one film industry. This festival is about India. We have the biggest movie industry in the world. When people look forward to festivals like Venice, Cannes and Sundance, we wanted everyone to own up to IFFI. Every November I am going to be in Goa every year for this festival," she added.
"When foreigners visit India, they want to witness our heritage and culture. We have to treat them to the best. We have to roll out the red carpet for them and exhibit our art in such a way that they feel like Hindustan is a must-visit place," she added.
