Khushbu the dream girl of the nineties is now concentrating on her political career being the national spokesperson of the Indian National Congres party. She quite often makes bold statements against the ruling party the BJP and ironically there are rumours floating around that she is likely to shift to the opposite side soon.

The 'Naattamai' heroine has further added "The man from where the calls were made says I deserve to be raped because I am a Muslim. Will our Prime Minister please tell me if this is the actual Bhoomi of LordRam?". She has also made an appeal "Humbly urge Hon'ble CM of Kolkata Mamata Banerjee Didi to look into it. If it can happen to me, imagine the plight of other women."

To a question why she is posting in the public by a user, Khushbu has clarified " What do you mean by why posting this public?? I am sure the one who made calls has a family. Such bastards should be shamed in public."

On the movie front Khusbhu is making a comeback after a long hiatus in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaathe' directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sun Pictures. The film that will resume shooting after the coronavirus pandemic also stars Meena, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh and Soori.
