H.Raja seems to be fond of trouble as the BJP National Secretary let out a statement that hints at the demolition of Periyar statues in Tamil Nadu terming the renowned political personality as a caste extremist. Even though the tweet seems to have been taken off his social handle, many have saved the said tweet which is being widely circulated creating controversy.

Spokesperson for the Congress party, Khushbu Sundar known for her direct and straight opinions has fumed up over Raja’s insensitive remarks. The actress took to her social page stating that Raja has ‘lost his marbles’.  Calling out on the ruling party’s silence she also pointed out how everyone is quick to censure Kamal and Rajini, but keep mum when Raja has given such a statement.

“Give a date to break the statue of Periyar. I will be there.. let me see if you the guts to surpass me and many like me..even your shadow cannot touch the statue of #Periyar,” she stated. In addition to this open challenge, she also said that if Raja’s statements were his own and not BJP’s, the party should ‘expel’ him and not just ‘suspend’.
