There may be murmurs (and noise) all over the town after the recent FILMFARE awards announcements but there have been few recognitions that have met with wholehearted approval. BEST SCREENPLAY award for KHOSLA KA GHOSLA is one of them.

After seeing a delay in its release for around 3 years, the film opened to a howlarious response and enjoyed a consistent stay at the box office to make a decent profit for itself. And credit for that goes to an almost flawless writing by Jaideep Sahni that resulted in the film being identifiable by one and all.

If there was one single factor that was most admired by the audience, it was the real-life feel that each and every sequence in the film exuded. Credit to that goes to the superb screenplay by Sahni that did the trick.

No wonder this co-production of Savita Hiremath and UTV is gaining a cult status with every passing month.
