'Khamoshiyan' has surprised everyone as the film with no star cast notched up 11.30 crore nett in week one! The horror film has worked very well specially in the mass centres.

According to the figures received from Fox Star Studios India the movies week one collection break-up is as follows - 6.67 crore Weekend + Monday - 1.33 cr + Tuesday - 1.27 cr + Wednesday - 1.10 cr + Thursday - 93 lacs - Total collections 11.3 crore nett in week one.

This collection means the film is already in the plus and the next week will decide how much profits the makers will earn from the small-budget film. The film has been made with a budget of 11 crore (including marketing) and the makers - Fox Star Studios and Vishesh Films - have already collected 7.5 crore on satellite and music rights thus making Khamoshiyan an extremely profitable product.
