'Khamoshiyan' already on winning streak

A complete non-star cast film, 'Khamoshiyan', has opened well to collect 1.92 crore nett on day one as the supernatural thriller made audiences enjoy the spook-fest. The film that has been made at a budget of 11 crore (including marketing) is on its way to become a hit already with satellite and music rights fetching 7.5 crore to the makers before release.

The day of collections of Khamoshiyan is encouraging considering its star cast consisting of complete newcomers in the industry. Khamoshiyan has been riding on extensive promotions and its music and word-of-mouth from audiences who are enjoying the horror in the film has played a big hand in the opening.
