The makers of 'Khakee' are quite happy that the film's songs have become a big hit. Starring Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles, the cop drama will hit the screens on Nov 17.

Producers Umesh Gupta and Subhash Gupta say, "All sections of listeners have fallen in love with the songs. Everybody is appreciating Ghibran's music. The trendy songs are especially attracting the youth. Karthi has done total justice to the role of a cop. We are going to release the film on a big scale."

Director H Vinoth says, "The film is based on some real-life incidents. We have seen a number of cop stories in the past. But in this film, we have explored the history behind a crime syndicate. Aditya Music Pvt Ltd is set to release the film on a big scale. It is going to be a paisaa vasool movie."

Karthi says, "Every hero likes to play the role of a cop. Tamil audiences have already seen me in such a role. But for Telugu audiences, it's new. I am confident that the audiences will accept this novelty."
