'Khaidi' Trailer: Karthi is endearing, shots gritty

The Trailer of 'Khaidi' ('Kaithi' in Tamil) is out and it has its lead man Karthi in a very absorbed role. Directed by Kollywood filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film is an action-thriller shot in night effect.
Sans a female lead, it packs action sequences that are seemingly true-to-life. Featuring Narain, Vijay TV Dheena, Mariam George and others in different roles, this one is a Dream Warrior Pictures and Vivekananda Pictures production.
With Karthi as a prisoner living with trauma and betraying his vulnerability as well as rage, the film has music by Sam CS of 'NOTA' fame.
Shot by Sathyan Sooryan, its editing is by Philomin Raj and Art direction is by N Sathees Kumar. Anbariv has choreographed the stunts.
The film will hit the screens in Tamil and Telugu for Diwali.
