When it hit the screens on Jan 11, 'Khaidi No. 150' was almost destined to create records. After all, it's the Megastar's comeback film, if ever Megastar needed to make a comeback into his fan's hearts.
Not that there were no complaints. Someone of Chiranjeevi's stature choosing to do a remake for his landmark movie came in for sharp criticism from puritans. While the complaint is valid, Chiru's Midas Touch would scorch all skepticism in no time.
The VV Vinayak-directed movie holds a number of non-'Baahubali' records. If 'Bruce Lee' proved that the charming Chiru had not lost his energy, this Sankranthi release proved that his style and grace are timeless. From 'Ammadu Let's Do Kummudu' to 'Sundari Sundari', his graceful dance moves shouted out that he is The Boss.
As 'Khaidi No. 150' celebrates its 100-days run today, Megastar's legions of fans await the announcement of 'Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy'.
