Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who is currently basking in the success of his recent movie KGF: Chapter 2, directed by Prashanth Neel, has overcome numerous obstacles in life, ranging from addiction issues to time in jail.
However, the legendary actor revealed that what broke him most in life was his cancer diagnosis in 2020. During a podcast with YouTuber, Ranveer Allahbadia, Sanjay Dutt mentioned that he cried for two to three hours when he learned of his diagnosis. “I could have broken somebody's face (if that person had told me about my cancer). So, my sister came and told me. I said, ‘Okay, I got cancer, now what?’ Then I started planning things, decided to do this and that... But, I did cry for over two-three hours (every day) because I was thinking about my kids and my life and my wife and everything,” he said.
Speaking about his treatment days, Sanjay Dutt explained that he decided not to be weak after he saw his life flash before his eyes. “They told me that I'd lose hair and other things would happen, I'd vomit, so I told the doctor. I’ll not lose hair, I'll not vomit, I won't lie on the bed, and she kind of smiled. I did my chemotherapy, and I came back and I sat on that bike for one hour and I cycled, I did that day after day -- every day. After every chemo I did that,” he added.
