'KGF' producer Vijay Kragandur of Hombale Films today announced a new pan-India project. The same is headlined and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. To be released in 2024 in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada, the film is titled 'Tyson'.
An actioner that is also a social thriller, the film will go on the floors sometime after September. "Get ready to be astonished by our brave defender. Time to unshackle the chains and resuscitate the system! (sic)," the makers tweeted, making the announcement. Going by the description, it seems there is a vigilante element in the movie. We see an old man writing down the names of IAS officers on a board in a government office in a poster released today.
Written by Mollywood's happening writer Murali Gopy, the film will exhibit rich visuals, high-end action choreography, and superb production values. Both Prithviraj and Gopy are a hit combination in Mollywood. 'Tyson' is being made at a time when Hombale Films is also making Prashanth Neel-directed 'Salaar' with Prabhas as the hero. Hombale Films is foraying into Mollywood with this Malayalam original.
The details of the rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon.
