Ram Gopal Varma is of the opinion that excessive fees earned by superstars is dragging down the quality of films. On the other hand, films like 'KGF 2' offer valuable lessons in controlling costs incurred on remunerations so that the budget can be spent on visuals, sets and other areas.

"The MONSTER success of 'KGF 2' is clear proof that if money is spent on MAKING and not wasted on STAR RENUMERATIONS, better QUALITY and BIGGEST HITS will come," Varma today tweeted, giving his take.
He described the Yash-starrer as not just a gangster film but also a film that is horrifying Bollywood. "The Hindi film industry will have nightmares about its success for years to come," RGV added.
Varma lauded director Prashanth Neel for putting the Kannada film industry on the world map. "Before the 'KGF' films, not even Tollywood and Kollywood were taking Sandalwood seriously," RGV said.

Like very much how Rocky Bhai comes to Mumbai to machine gun the villains, @TheNameIsYash is literally machine gunning all the Bollywood stars opening collections and it’s final collections will be a nuclear bomb thrown on Bollywood from Sandalwood
