'KGF 2', it is known, will hit the screens on 14 April 2022. On Monday, Hombale Films unveiled its first song, titled 'Toofan'.

The lyrical video, boasting of thundering visuals from the Prashanth Neel directorial, makes us root for the 'Toofan' that is Yash's character in the movie. Written by Ramajogayya Sastry, the song has been sung by Sri Krishna, Prudhvi Chandra, Arun Kaundinya, Santhosh Venky, Sachin Basrur, Ravi Basrur, Puneeth Rudranag, Manish Dinakar, with Harini Ivaturi's female voice adding the extra zing.

Besides Ravi Basrur, the film also has music by Bharath Madhusudhanan and Sachin Basrur. With dialogues by Chandramouli M, Dr Suri, and Prashanth Neel, the film has action choreography by Anbariv.

Featuring Sanjay Dutt as the villain Adheera, it is bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Malvika Avinash, Achyuth Kumar, Ayyappa P Sharma, Rao Ramesh, Eshwari Rao, Archana Jois, TS Nagabharana, Saran, Avinash, Lakki Lakshman, Vashishta Simha, Harish Rai, Dinesh Mangalore, Tarak, Ramachandra Raju, Vinay Bidappa, and others are part of the cast.
