The second edition of 'KGF' is currently being shot in Bengaluru.  Starring Sandalwood superstar Yash in the lead, the action-drama will next be shot in Mysore.  Post this, the unit will move to Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad for a grand schedule. The last one will take place in the Karnataka-Bellary region. About 90 percent of the shoot will be completed by the month of September.

Director Prashanth Neel has promised that the film is going to feature some well-known Hindi film industry names.  A couple of "crazy names" are said to have been finalized.  Sanjay Dutt is said to be one of the names under consideration.

Expectations are huge from the film's action sequences, which are expected to be on a much bigger scale than the first part's fights.
