The ‘Singam’ Tamil film remake in Kannada ‘Kempegowda’ – Sudeep as director and in the title role has won with flying colors in the box office. In the last 50 days the film collected gross of Rs.12 crores says the reports.

The film ‘Kempe Gowda’ released on 10th of March has completed 50 days in 25 theatres says producer Shankare Gowda who is brimming with happiness. He has lost in his earlier film with Sudeep ‘Just Math Mathalli’. He was in joyous mood to distribute the 50 days shield to the technicians and artists. ‘I am organizing 100 days in an open ground in a grand style’ stated Shankare Gowda.

The film ‘Kempe Gowda’ has come out better than Suriya ‘Singam’ stated veteran actor Jai Jagdish receiving the memento as he has also acted in the film. My family members are also of the same opinion. Sudeep has the clever handling style in direction. He should do only strong roles not the soft ones felt Jai Jagadish.

This is the third win for distributor and exhibitor Basha . His earlier films ‘Mylari’ and current one running ‘Sanju Weds Geetha’ has earned bumper. The first quarter of 2011 there are three big hits is a good sign for the Kannada cinema industry he feels.

Actress Ragini Dwivedi, music director Arjun, cameraman Sathya Hegde, choreographer Harsha, stunt directors Ravi Verma, Different Danny, villain Ravishanker in Armugam role and others received the memento.

Kichcha Sudeep considered Shankare Gowda as his brother at this happy occasion. ‘Kempe Gowda’ win belongs to all. I was discouraged for doing a few remakes in the media but for this film I got good support. Sudeep thanked the media for terrific reviews.
