The apex body Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce is divided in two parts. The fifty plus years Apex body Karnataka chalanachitra Vanijya Mandali is headed by Sa Ra Govindu and the divided unit Kannada Chalanachitra Vanijya Mandali` is headed by Krishne Gowda with proper registration.

The biggest tiff between the two is dubbing issue. Govindu team does not want dubbed films to Kannada as it is a cultural policy of the film industry since 1960 when the call was given by Dr Rajakumar not to entertain dubbed films from other languages to Kannada. Govindu KFCC has more than 1000 members from all the three sectors.

The new KFCC headed by Krishne Gowda wants dubbing. The Bahubali 2 will be the first dubbed film to hit from this institution that has 180 members from three sectors. Gowda KFCC procedures issued 20 straight films and 2 dubbed films have been registered. KFCC is giving suggestions and guidelines to new film makers on every Sunday. It is giving proper support to get the subsidy for Kannada films as they deserve. It is not Rs.52000 registration fee in new KFCC, it is just Rs.10000, and at one time three titles could be registered. In case of problems the justice would be given according to law. Dubbed films emerge in Kannada, the remake would stop believe this new KFCC.

The evolution of this new KFCC is because of discrepancy of existing Apex Body. None of the suggestions, new ideas were taken in to consideration made this Gowda team to form new KFCC.
