Keralite wins Rs 20 Crore

On Sunday, Dileepkumar Ellikkottil Parameswaran won 10 million dirhams (Rs 20.6 crore) at the Big Ticket raffle in Abu Dhabi. The ticket bearing the number 076713 that he bought online on April 14, turned out to be the Keralite's ticket to the multi-millionaire club.
The Thrissur Native, who has been working as a salesman in Ajman for the past seven years, said that the lottery money will be used to clear his outstanding loan. The balance money will be saved for the future of his 16-year-old and 9-year-old children, said Dileepkumar.
Big Ticket is the largest and longest-running monthly raffle draw for cash prizes in Abu Dhabi. Many Indians have been regularly winning prizes at the big-ticket draw. This time too, the third, seventh, eighth, and ninth lot of the Duty-Free ticket was won by Indians.
