On Thursday morning, Kerala witnessed a dramatic scene when the state's notorious criminal Vadival Vineeth got arrested while he tried to escape from Chadayamangalam in a stolen car. Vadival Vineeth, who was involved in nearly 50 robbery cases in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Alappuzha districts, was arrested by the Kollam police.
The Police had been behind the criminal since Thursday morning as he attempted to steal money from a petrol pump after threatening a worker with a knife. Though Vineeth escaped from the place in a bullet bike, the petrol pump staffs informed the Police. Later he abandoned the bike in Chadayamangalam before stealing a car. He then drove towards Kollam. With the help of locals, Vineeth was finally nabbed.
Vineeth and his gang of criminals were arrested last year in November. They were kept under observation at a COVID centre. From there, he escaped and since then he had been on the run committing over 20 robberies at various places. It was indeed very adventurous for the Kerala Police arresting the criminal again on Thursday.
