Kerala woman jumps off terrace to save her baby

A 25-year-old woman named Nima, passed away after she jumped from the terrace of an apartment to rescue her six-month-old baby girl Nifa. The incident happened on Thursday morning in Trivandrum, when Nima had gone with the baby to the terrace to play. While playing, the baby slipped off from her hands and fell down from the three-storey building.
To save the baby, Nima immediately jumped off the terrace. Unfortunately Nima succumbed to serious head injury while baby Nifa escaped miraculously with just minor injuries. Reportedly, Nifa fell on the pile of discarded clothes and thermocols, that saved her life. Though the neighbours rushed Nima to a private hospital, her life could not be saved.
