As reported earlier, Bollywood diva Sunny Leone is in Kerala with her husband and kids in Trivandrum, as part of a shoot. On Friday, the actress is said to have been questioned by the Crime Branch of Kochi Police over a cheating case. Reportedly, the actress received a sum of Rs 29 lakh for an event in Kerala and had allegedly not participated in it. Shiyas, the coordinator of the event had filed a complaint against the actress over cheating him multiple times.

According to his complaint, Sunny promised to attend various inaugural functions in Kochi and a total sum of rupees 29 lakh was charged by the actress over 12 occasions since the year 2016. Meanwhile, the actress dismissed the complaint as baseless stating that the organisers postponed the event five times. The actress also pointed out that there were lapses from the part of the programme committee. More details are awaited.

Sunny Leone first visited Kerala in 2017 and fans had thronged the streets of Kochi to catch a glimpse of the actress.
