Kerala is facing a bad time with incessant rains causing floods and landslides. The day-to-day lives of the people has been obstructed to a great extent not to mention the loss of lives as well. Adding more problem is the overflowing water from dams that will increase the range of damage.
However, the state’s CM Pinarayi Vijayan and the opposition leader Chennithala have given other leaders an exemplary behaviour to follow. Yes, the two leaders with no hesitation engaged in helicopter surveillance together around the district of Idukki. This genuine act of cooperation and brotherhood between two opposing leaders in times of crisis is the true spirit of leadership.
While many politicians try to use such disasters for their own political mileage by playing blaming games and pointing fingers, Kerala’s politicians ace it when it comes to joining hands together for the general good.
