Kelce and his brother Jason believe the NFL is overdoing its social media presence as fans continue to obsess over Travis Kelce's rumoured romance with Taylor Swift.

Kelce and Swift have not confirmed their connection, but Swift has cheered for him in his last two games.

Travis Kelce and his older brother, Philadelphia Eagles centre Jason, spoke On Their New Heights podcast. Travis said, "I like seeing who attended the game. It enhances the ambiance and what you're watching. Nevertheless..."

Jason said, "I think they're overdoing it," and Travis agreed, "They're definitely going a bit overboard, especially in my situation, but I think they're just trying to have fun with it."

The NFL tweeted at least six times about the Swift-Kelce story, defending its strategy. NFL said, "The Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce news has been a pop culture moment that we've embraced in real time, as it represents an intersection of sports and entertainment, and we've seen an incredible amount of positivity surrounding the sport."

Fanatics claimed a 400% increase in sales of Kelce's Chiefs jersey after Swift's first game appearance, while Variety reported "the highest among female demographics across various age groups," TV ratings. She watched the Chiefs beat the Jets at MetLife Stadium on Sunday after sitting with the Kelce brothers' mother, Donna, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on September 24.
