'Aina Ishtam Nuvvu' has been waiting in the labs to find a proper release. Starring Keerthy Suresh as the heroine and Naveen Vijay Krishna of 'Nandini Nursing Home' as the hero, the film was supposed to hit the screens in 2015 before hitting a perennial roadblock.
Earlier this week, its release was announced after it was rechristened as ‘Janakitho Nenu’. The rom-com's OTT release in October is nearing but the film has courted controversy.
Producer Natti Kumar has reportedly claimed that Chanti Addala, the film's original producer, had sold off the release rights to him years ago. So, Addala can't have any rights over the film is his contention. Now that the film's release rights are with an OTT platform, it seems the OTT platform, too, will be a party to the resolution of the stalemate.
Directed by Ramprasad Roguthu, the film is not likely to be promoted by Keerthy, who awaits the release of 'Good Luck Sakhi' and 'Miss India' in the coming months.
