'Saamy', starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead, is the dubbed version of 'Saamy Square' (Tamil). Written and directed by Hari, the mass film is a cop actioner.

The news is that 'Saamy' will soon be shot in Europe. The schedule will see Keerthy Suresh and Vikram romancing in exotic locales for the film's songs. With this, much of the production works will have been done with.

A sequel to 'Saamy' (remade in Telugu as 'Lakshmi Narasimha'), the film sees the son of Vikram from the first part locking horns with the son of the villains from the said part. Bobby Simha is the chief antagonist.

Keerthy Suresh, who has rocked in 'Mahanati' as Savitri, will be seen in a bubbly role in the movie. Soori, Prabhu, John Vijay, Ishwarya and others are part of the cast.
