'Penguin', the mystery thriller, is set to start premiering on Amazon Prime Video from June 19. Starring Keerthy Suresh, the direct OTT release has been touted to be an eerie, atmospheric and suspenseful drama.
As per the buzz about the film, it's packed with some interesting turns. Writer-director Eashvar Karthic has penned the script in such a way that there is a "suspense element every 20 minutes."
The film's trailer, unveiled on Thursday by Nani, shows that Keerthy Suresh plays a mother who is in a frantic and agonized search of her missing son. There is a Charlie Chaplinesque look to the villain and it's supposed that his purpose and identity will be exciting to watch.
With music by Santhosh Narayanan, the film has cinematography by Karthik Palani. Editing is by Anil Krish. Art Direction is by Sakthee Venkataraj M, the film will release in Tamil and Malayalam, too.
