Earlier this week, a news was making rounds that the next movie of National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh, the thriller Penguin will be released directly on OTT platform skipping a theatrical release.

Now, it has been announced officially that Penguin will have its global premiere on Amazon prime video OTT platform on June 19. Producer Karthik Subbaraj has tweeted "She is destined to rise on 19th June! Join her on an adventure on @PrimeVideoIn. #PenguinOnPrime #WorldPremiereOnPrime @KeerthyOfficial @EashvarKarthic @Music_Santhosh @Stonebenchfilms @PassionStudios_ @kaarthekeyens".

Penguin is jointly produced by Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench films and Passion Studios and is directed by debutant Eashvar Karthic, a former associate of Karthik Subbaraj. Penguin has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
