Speaking about love in a recent interview, Keerthy said that although she never fell in love with any, she is sure she won't face any problem if she opted for a love marriage. "My parents themselves had a love marriage. So, they won't be an obstacle", she has been quoted as saying.

Keerthy's mother Menaka is a yesteryear heroine and father Suresh Kumar is a Malayalam film producer.
