Keerthy Suresh bags a female-centric movie

Keerthy Suresh, who is on cloud nine after receiving the National Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Savitri in ‘Mahanati’, has been roped in to play the lead in ‘Petta’ director Karthik Subbaraj’s upcoming Tamil production venture.

The ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ actress will be playing the lead role in the untitled mystery thriller, directed by debutant Eashvar Karthic. The female-centric movie will be produced by Karthik Subbaraj under the Stone Bench Films banner and the music will be composed by Santhosh Narayanan of ‘Kabali’ and ‘Kaala’ fame.

In Telugu, a family drama directed by newcomer Narendranath, starring also Rajendra Prasad and Naresh, among others, is also in the making.   The actress has reportedly already signed up for her maiden venture in Bollywood, teaming up with producer Boney Kapoor.  She also has a Malayalam film called ‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham’ coming up.
