Major Ravi is thrilled at the response for his maiden directorial venture Keerthi Chakra (the Tamil version has released).

The movie that stars Mohanlal as a commando has won rave reviews.

Ravi, who has served the Indian army before joining Priyadharshan as his associate, says,'He is happy that he churned out a movie which speaks in volumes about patriotism. Thanking Mohanlal for his co-operation, Ravi, said, 'The movie is based on a original story and all the characters deserve credit for helping him give the movie its true color and life'.

Giving credit to producer R B Choudhary for coming forward to produce this big-budgeted venture, he said, 'shooting in the tense location at Jammu and Kashmir was a big challenge and it was made possible with co-operation from the cast and crew'.

The Tamil version Aran opened big in neighboring Tamil Nadu.
