MM Keeravani has landed the opportunity to compose for a period biopic. It's that of the legendary NT Rama Rao's biopic of the Teja-Balakrishna duo.

This is the first time that Teja is going to work with the seasoned music director of decades of standing. Since the biopic is intense and is set in a different era, none of the contemporary musicians would have been apt. As someone who caught the imagination of the nation with his stellar tunes for 'Baahubali' movies, Keeravani is the right choice.

The film will go on the floors in January next. It is slated for a grand May 28 release. The biopic will be made in Telugu and Hindi. Balayya, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri will produce the project. Teja will reportedly shoot parts of the film in Nimmakuru (NTR's hometown), as also Chennai.
