Kedi
A M Rathinam's production venture Kedi directed by his elder son Jothy Krishna featuring his younger son Ravi Krishna in the lead role is ready for a release now. Featuring Tollywood stars Ileana and Tamana, the movie promises to be a youthful entertainer.
A bi-lingual (made in Tamil and Telugu), the movie introduces Tollywood actresses Tamanna and Ileana to Kollywood.
Says Jothy Krishna, 'It would be a romantic entertainer with interesting turns and twists. Ravi Krishna has given his best shot and the movie has right flavors to attract the youth'.
Going further ahead, the director thanks his father for giving him enough liberties in churning out Kedi.
Ravi Krishna, who sports a new look for the movie, heaping appreciation on his brother, says, ' he extracted the best from me. '
Talking about the film, Ravi Krishna states, 'I am playing an action packed role with enough scope for me to try my hand in humor and romance. Acting in our home production with my brother (Jothy Krishna) directing gives me enough liberties to try different things at one time.'
One of the highlights of the film is pulsating screenplay and the wonderful songs by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The movie was initially titled Kallan and following protests from a few quarters, it has rechristened as Kedi.
