So, Keanu Reeves had wished for a definite ending to his character, John Wick, in "John Wick: Chapter 4" because of the demanding nature of the film series. He gave his body and soul to perform gruesome stunts, which left him physically and emotionally drained. He strongly supported Wick's definitive death in the production of the fourth sequel as a way of finding rest.

The producers accepted this but reserved a thin chance for Wick's rescue. The unity that existed between the filmmakers was a big determinant in this. They treasured the collaboration they had and referred to the directors Chad Stahelski and Keanu Reeves as The Beatles.

Producer Basil Iwanyk was ready to wait as long as Stahelski and Reeves needed to come up with a new plot for Wick to follow. Their relationship and mutual devotion to the world of cinema they had created inspired them to make another chapter of the story of John Wick. Although there was no finalization of the plot or the release date of the next part, the producers still maintain the honour of the series.

They have guaranteed to deliver another great John Wick film on the premise of their long friendship and love for the cinematic universe they created. The duo has guaranteed that they will not jump into making the movie; rather, they will be more focused on making a compelling and good enough movie that will crown the franchise.
