For the first time since the pandemic began, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today visited a covid hospital to supervise the arrangements. He spoke to doctors and other experts who are taking care of the management at the famous Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. The hospital is a covid-only centre.
A convoy of nearly 20 vehicles brought the Telangana Chief Minister. He was spotted interacting with a patient who is on ventilator.

TRS leaders, in the meanwhile, are highlighting the fact that the TRS supremo visited the hospital without wearing a PPE kit. "He is fearless. He has instilled faith in the citizens of Telangana," their tweets are proclaiming.
"Another testimony of our legendary leader, CM Sri KCR garu who visited Gandhi Hospital without the PPE kit to console persons effected with COVID and getting treatment. It will sure be confidence booster for them. A bit risky but that doesn’t bother our CM sir much," wrote TRS MP Santosh Kumar J.
It may be noted that KCR contracted the virus in April and got recovered.
For the past few days, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been visiting several urban and rural areas in his State to supervise the efforts to contain the pandemic. He too recovered from the virus only recently, much like KCR. Several CMs have been accused of not coming out of their palaces.
