KCR has taken some key decisions in the wake of the ongoing Intermediate examination fiasco.
After a high-level meeting with officials on Wednesday afternoon, the Telangana Chief Minister directed that re-evaluation and recounting should be done at free of cost. This big decision has come to the relief of about 3 lakh students in the State.
He also ordered that advanced supplementary exams should be held as soon as possible so that failed students don't have to lose a precious academic year.
As per early reports, the supervision of the examination process could be handed over to an autonomous body from now onwards.
So far, 17 students have committed suicide ever since the results were out recently.
