KCR government gives house site, Rs 1 Cr to Mogilaiah

The other day, acclaimed Kinnera exponent Darshanam Mogilaiah was given Padma Shri by the Government of India. He was nominated for the award by the Government of Telangana, as he hails from Mahboobnagar.
The news is that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has announced rewards for Mogilaiah, who has attained mild popularity of late. The CM felicitated him at Pragathi Bhavan on Friday. The exponent has been given a house site in Hyderabad. Besides, a cash reward of Rs 1 Cr has been announced.
In his recent interaction with IndiaGlitz, the artist profusely thanked Pawan Kalyan. "After I sang a song in 'Bheemla Nayak' last year, my name spread to various parts of the Telugu States. I received a cash reward of Rs 2 lakh from Pawan Kalyan sir," he told us. He also thanked the KCR government for including his name in a Class VIII textbook. "I have received rewards as well as financial assistance. I am thankful to the government," he added.
